Get your jeans on and dine at the Harvest

ON Friday August 5, for every person who wears jeans when dining at the Harvest Restaurant, Sebel Hawkesbury Resort and Spa, the Hotel will donate $10 to Jeans for Genes.

In addition patrons of the Barracks Bar who are wearing jeans and make a gold coin donation to this cause, will receive a blue cocktail which has been specially created by the talented food and beverage team.

The “Denim Delight” is available in both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version.

The Sebel Resort and Spa has a reputation in the local area for philanthropy and giving back to the community.

General manager, David Ross, says the staff are really getting behind this worthy cause.

“They have been taking selfies with mannequins dressed in denim located in the Hotel’s foyer and posting the photos on their personal social media pages, to raise awareness,” he said.

Hotel management have granted staff permission to wear jeans on the day.

Every dollar raised for Jeans for Genes day goes to The Children’s Medical Research Institute to fund research into the treatment and cure of childhood birth defects and genetic diseases, giving children of today and tomorrow a brighter future.

You can help by dining at The Harvest Restaurant at Sebel Hawkesbury Resort and Spa on August 5 or simply calling in to the Barracks Bar for a drink as a Friday night treat or alternatively registering your donation at
