$12M UPGRADE FOR ST JOHNS
ST Johns Park Bowling Club is undergoing a $12 million upgrade with the first stage expected to be finished in early 2016. It will include a steak and pizza brasserie seating 265 people, a pavilion events centre and a refurbished general lounge. By November 2016, the club expects to add an Asian restaurant to venue.
ROSEHILL BOWLING CLUB RELOCATES
ROSEHILL Bowling Club has secured its long-term future by agreeing to merge with the Australian Turf Club. As part of the amalgamation, the club will relocate across the road to the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. Legal documents outlining the terms show the club will stay its current premises for a minimum of three years. The site will be sold when it relocates.
FORTIUS SELLS KPMG BUILDING
FORTIUS Funds Management has sold a 5,704-square-metre, 8-level office building, on the corner of Phillip and Smith streets, in the Parramatta CBD, in an off-market deal for $30 million to Capital Funds. The company bought the building in 2013 for $15.8 million. The building is 95 per cent leased, with KPMG having signage rights.
