The presentation by Ghantous will include the journey he has taken to grow professionally plus a mini hair and make-up show.
Ghantous trained overseas before coming to Australia to pursue his future in hairdressing and has been a hairstylist for 35 years. He opened his first salon in 1996 the year he won the Pan-Pacific Hairdressing Championships and in 2002 the Europe Cup Championships followed by the 2004 Middle East Cup Championships.
Locally, Ghantous has won the Parramatta/Holroyd Business Awards in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and the Holroyd City Local Business Awards in 2009 and 2011 as the Most Outstanding Hairdresser. He also was awarded the 2010 Business Person of theYear and 2014 Most Outstanding Hairdresser in the Holroyd City Local Business Awards.
His salon also won the 2003 Most Outstanding Beautician and in 2013 - 1st place in the Bridal Hair & Make-up - IHS Championships with the assistance of his daughter Patricia who has definitely inherited her father's artistic skills and determination.
Ghantous has taken part in L'Oreal Fashion Week as hairstylist for the catwalk models and has participated in many hair shows and workshops in Sydney. Melbourne and Brisbane.
