$24 million car park
HEALTH Minister Jillian Skinner said new $24 million, 622-space car park, at Blacktown Hospital, was a key component of the $324 million expansion of Blacktown/Mount Druitt Hospital, the state’s largest hospital construction project.
Hundreds compete

Purchase of sites
THE NSW government aims to help boost jobs and investment in Western Sydney through the sale of 13.5 hectares of vacant land in the Caddens Release Area. The land comprises two sites, a vacant State Records site and adjoining land owned by Urban Growth NSW.
Facility bought for $13.8m
BOUTIQUE fund manager, Quintessential Equity has acquired a 9928-square-metre warehouse and single storey office, at Inglis Road, in Ingleburn, for $13.8 million from AMP Capital, acting on behalf of UniSuper. The site has more than 44,000 square metres of surplus space.
Victa faces competition

Development plan
CAMPBELTOWN Council is developing a plan to provide 3000 new dwellings in the Ingleburn centre for 6000 new residents with a push for higher density housing around the town centre, including increasing building limits from four to eight storeys. The plan also accommodates 25,000square metres of new retail and commercial floor space.
Grace records expansion
GRACE Records Management’s Blair Athol expansion includes a new warehouse the size of three football fields, in Hepher Rd near Grace’s current operations. The warehouse will house an additional 1.5 million records and files, increasing the company’s storage capacity by 100 per cent. The first sod will be turned on the 17,000-square-metre site in November.

Hold on Epping’s future
PARRAMATTA Lord Mayor, John Chedid, said there was little point having a poll on whether Epping should be under the jurisdiction of one council rather than two, Parramatta or Hornsby. Clr said the issue should wait until the state government’s current review of local government in NSW was finished.

40 per cent A grade
PARRAMATTA CBD had 685,878 square metres of office stock at December 2013. Approximately 40 per cent of the stock was A Grade, with B, C and D Grade space comprising approximately 60 per cent of the market, according to a Savills report.
$28.75 million for building
MARSHALL Property has acquired a 7127-square-metre office building at 93 George Street, Parramatta for $28.75 million from Quintessential Equity. The NSW government has signed a new 5-year lease in the property, providing a net income of $2.7 million. The property previously sold in December 2009 for $18.5 million.
$2 million for park
NSW Environment Minister, Robyn Parker, said $2 million funding would be spent on construction of a hard staging area giving The Crescent, in Parramatta Park, the necessary infrastructure to host large outdoor events.
