REBRAND FOR ICONIC VENUE

Ownership change for Waterview

LAST year the iconic Western Sydney venue, Waterview Venue in Bicentennial Park came under the full ownership of hospitality guru, Theodore Drivas.

Now the venue is preparing for a major rebrand.

Having always maintained a share of the venue Mr Drivas felt the time was right to buy out the previous shareholders and maintain full ownership of the place he had always loved.

The new team plans to continue to serve existing clients and they are also aiming at attracting new events and clientele in the automotive display and launch industries.

The venue also offers an ideal location to host national and international congresses and conferences and tour group bookings. All segments are currently being explored.

New ownership means a new team is being developed which will follow Dockside Group’s successful strategy over 30 years in business.

Mr Drivas is working alongside a young and creative marketing agency which have exciting plans for the brand.

A representative from GC Communications said the total rebrand started in January 2017.

The brand has been lifted with a change of logo to represent the picturesque location as well as the elite hospitality and service received in all areas of the venue.

The new team is committed to ensuring high levels of service is carried through to weddings, business events, school events, private celebrations and Waterview Café dining.

“Rebranding was an important exercise as I want our clients to gauge the feeling of their event from the first moment they browse the website, hold our collateral or meet one of our employees. The brand must perfectly represent all that is on offer when you hold your event at Waterview,” said Mr Drivas.
