GEORGE IV REMAINS TRADITIONAL
BUSINESS partners Adam Cryer and Ross Robinson bought the historic George IV Inn, in Picton, at auction for $3.125M. The pub, which was significantly damaged during a storm last year, was sold by its former owner Patrick Moloney, following an insurance company’s refusal to cover the damage claim. It is to remain a traditional pub.

EMPLOYMENT HUBS ARE GROWING
THE Hills is home to a number of growing employment hubs including the Norwest Business Park, Castle Hill Town Centre and Rouse Hill Town Centre. GOVT TO BUY DJs CARPARK FOR MUSEUM
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the government would buy the former old David Jones carpark, on the foreshore of the Parramatta River, from Parramatta City Council for $140M for the relocation of the Powerhouse Museum from Ultimo. Council use the money to upgrade the Riverside Theatre and create a dedicated Western Sydney arts fund.
