MERRYLANDS SKYBRIDGE SCRAPPED
A SKYBRIDGE connecting the Stocklands Merrylands Centre and proposed Merrylands Court development has been scrapped after being described as “excessive” [because of] adverse amenity and visual impacts”.
BLUE CHIP CENTRE SOLD
A BLUE CHIP 2890-square-metre service centre, at 97-99 Hume Highway, Chullora, sold for $8.5 million. The centre is fully leased to Woolworths and Red Rooster parent company, which are long-term occupants. Net Income is approximately $597,750 annually plus GST. Woolworths accounts for 77.5 per cent of total income.
FAIRFIELD COUNCIL SEEKS UPGRADE
FAIRFIELD City Council will make a submission to the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal supporting its claim to be upgraded to a Metropolitan Major council such as Blacktown and Penrith. Council seeks the reclassification so it could bring major infrastructure to the city and can work towards being a regional player.
