PENRITH City Council has endorsed a regional strategic alliance with the Blue Mountains City Council which aims to aims to capitalise on opportunities that exist between the councils particularly in the areas of tourism, joint procurement, and region-wide responses to government plans. Both Blue Mountains and Penrith councils will contribute $142,500 annually towards the alliance.
