GREEN LIGHT FOR HUB
THE proposed Bringelly Road business hub, estimated to host more than 650 jobs and create 230 more during construction, has been approved. Situated on the southern boundary of Western Sydney Parklands near the intersection of Bringelly and Cowpasture roads, the hub will include warehouses, smaller retail spaces, a service station and fast food shops. It will be operated by Western Sydney Parklands.
ESCARPMENT GROUP BUYS PEPPERS
THE Escarpment Group, owners of many hotels in the Blue Mountains has purchased the 17-room, circa 1876 Peppers Convent Hotel and restaurant, in the Hunter Valley, for $5 million plus, from businessman Ken Cowley and family. The Escarpment Group’s properties include the Hydro Majestic Hotel and Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort and Spa.
