BLUE CHIP CENTRE SOLD
A BLUE CHIP 2890-square-metre service centre, at 97-99 Hume Highway, Chullora, sold for $8.5 million. The centre is fully leased to Woolworths and Red Rooster parent company, which are long-term occupants. Net Income is approximately $597,750 annually plus GST. Woolworths accounts for 77.5 per cent of total income.
FAIRFIELD COUNCIL SEEKS UPGRADE
FAIRFIELD City Council will make a submission to the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal supporting its claim to be upgraded to a Metropolitan Major council such as Blacktown and Penrith. Council seeks the reclassification so it could bring major infrastructure to the city and can work towards being a regional player.
$130M PROJECT UNDERWAY
CONSTRUCTION is underway of a $130 million development at the AMP Capital’s Crossroads Logistics Centre, at Casula, Once complete it will accommodate about 70,000 square metres of warehouse and office space across three precincts. Cosentino Australia’s 12,500-square-metre distribution centre and showroom is being constructed in precinct A.
